365 Days Photo project – Day 6 – Me, Myself and My Selfie!

Sorry for the misleading title, technically, it isn’t a selfie, since there wasn’t any selfie sticks involved. But there was me, my camera and a bunch of lights 😉

It was about time for me to make a self-portrait, and considering the fact I am on the day six of this project of mine, there will be a lot of opportunities to repeat it during the next… 359 days! Hopefully, you won’t be looking at my face every single day! :)

The problem with making a self portrait like this is nailing the focus right. I had my camera on tripod, on self-timer for ten seconds. Just about enough time for me to get in the position. I am not omnipresent (yet), so I had to use the other tripod to lock the focus and mark my spot with a piece of duct tape on the floor. This little piece of duct tape was pretty important, since it was marking the area which was in the focus. Basically, I was jumping back and forth, till I got the shot right! Hope you’ll like it!
