Air Bubbles – 365 Project – Day 43

I borrowed a fish tank from a friend, and I must say that today weather was perfect (around 35°C) to get hands wet and do some abstract air bubbles photography!

The lighting was pretty straightforward, I used only one flash to light the background. Gelled with blue gel, to give a little bit of an ocean feel to it. I wrapped the fish tank with some tracing paper, to soften the light and reflections and spent like an hour experimenting with the bubbles! To the produce image of this kind, I had to use a cup, dipped all the way down to the bottom of the tank where I released the bubbles. The final image is a composite of couple images, so basically, I took best parts of various photos and combined them into one image in Photoshop.

There you go, have a bubbly Monday evening 😉 Cheers!
