B-boying or Contemporary art? – 365 Project – Day 24

Is B-boying just a form of dance or is there more to it?

My friend Mario is into breaking for quite a while now, and today we made a little exhibition of his Freeze moves in front of Museum of Contemporary art in Zagreb. I was there with my gear, and after about an hour of him posing in front of my cam (he was most of the time upside down), we finished with some sweet shots as a result. He showed me like a million cool moves, but here are the two that I liked the most!

Weather was kinda overcast, but still very bright, so I had to stop down the aperture all the way to f20 to darken the sky. There were two YN-560III flashes to the camera right at full power, shot through silver reflective umbrella and one bare flash to the left. Check the BTS photo for more details!

  • Canon 600D @ 1/200 ISO 100
  • Canon EF-S 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 @ 10mm f20
  • Three Yongnuo YN-560III Speedlites (details in the BTS pic below)
  • Triggered by Yongnuo YN560-TX manual flash controller
