Breaking the Fountain – 365 Project – Day 33

I was hanging out with Mario (remember him?) around the National library in Zagreb and we saw this fountain right across the street. Since Mario is always in the mood to show off some of his breaking moves, we decided to take couple of pics right in front of the fountain. It turned out pretty good, don’t you think?

This time I used 50mm lens on camera, which was on a tripod. That allowed me to use lower shutter speed, so more of the ambient light fell on camera sensor. One flash was positioned behind the fountain, the other two were in front, on the left and right side. If you’re interested in more details about the lighting, check the last pic!

Camera and light settings:

  • Canon 600D @ 1/10 ISO 100 – on Manfrotto tripod
  • Canon EF 50mm f1.4 @ f2
  • 3 x YN-560III flash (details in the pic below)
  • Triggered by Yongnuo YN560-TX manual flash controller
