Fethiye is a city and district of Muğla Province in the Aegean region of Turkey with about 146,000 inhabitants. Even though there’s plenty to see in Fethiye, we had to continue our trip to Karacasöğüt, since we booked a cabin on a boat there.

Just a quick reminder about our route (click on the names in order to open previous blog posts):

Hot and sunny climate makes flowers looking good!

In the evening, there are many cool places like this one

Next day we were driving to Marmaris and stopped at one of the restaurants by the road. Apparently, they are growing peppers… a lot of peppers!

People in Karacasöğüt don’t lack a sense of humor!

… nor do they lack killer views!

This was our home for two nights

It took owner 12 years to build this ship

It’s called Helon, and you can read more about it here

There were many small, empty but beautiful beaches around the area.. this is one of them

After Karacasöğüt, we had to reach Dalaman airport, in order to catch our flight to Istanbul. Read more about Istanbul in my next blog post!
