Kaş is a small fishing, diving, yachting and tourist town, and a district of Antalya Province of Turkey. As a tourist resort, it is relatively unspoilt. After spending whole afternoon at the beach near Kalkan, we visited Kaş.
In case you missed my previous post about Antalya, click on this link!
There is also a post about Olympos national park, make sure you check it out too!
Just a quick reminder about our route:
Antalya – Olympos Beydaglari National Park (near Kemer) – Kaş – Kalkan – Saklıkent Canyon – Fethiye – Karacasöğüt (small village near Marmaris) – Dalaman (airport) – Istanbul

Lovely palm trees all over the place
Although there are many tourists visiting Kaş every summer, the place preserved it’s original charm
This bar is one of the examples showing how much Turkish people are into cats!
…as well as this restaurant!
Lovely glassware is a common view in street shops
Just a cat, being cat and enjoying the privilege of being a Turkish citizen!
This is how a typical street in old part of Kaş looks like
Carpets, estates… you can get it all at the same place!
Next day we visited Patara beach and Kalkan old city center! More about those places in my next blog post!
