It’s time for some kitten photography today!

My mom is always taking care about abandoned animals, especially the cats. It happens that there is one cute little kitten at her place these days, waiting to find his new owner. We had a sweet photo session with the kitty today! If you are interested to adopt this cute little fella, or know anyone who might be interested in doing so, feel free to drop me a note!

Anyway, let me say few words about lights and camera setup. Single flash, shot through a softbox, set at 1/32 power. I had a kitty bouncing around on piece of white perspex, so it was kinda tricky to catch him being still and looking at the camera. There’s quite a few pics which turned out pretty good, and this is my favorite one!

Camera and light settings:

  • Canon 600D @ 1/200 ISO 100
  • Canon EF 50mm f1.4 @ f2.8
  • One Yongnuo YN-560III Speedlite @ 1/32 24mm
  • Triggered by Yongnuo YN560-TX manual flash controller

Here is one more pic!
